This is a working demo of a new site for Two Seasons. Look around, then read what went into it. Same as a bid: nothing is committed until you say so. A proposed site for Two Seasons. See the proposal

One real offer, and three we made up.

The real one is at the top and it is the only price this business has ever published. Everything below it is a proposal, clearly marked, and if Tony hates the whole idea we delete one file and the site is still complete.

The real one

$75 service call.

A licensed contractor comes out and finds out what is actually wrong. It is not an introductory rate, it does not expire at the end of the month, and there is no code to mention when you call. It is simply what the visit costs.

What the $75 covers is written out on the pricing page, with the terms written out in full.

Three offers we would run

Each one is shaped around a real problem in this market rather than around a number in a starburst.

Proposed. Two Seasons is not currently running any of these. The amounts are left set at what shops this size in Central Texas typically run, so they are a working starting point. The shape of the offer matters more than the figure, and both are Tony's to move.

The March visit

$99

A tune-up booked between the first of March and the last day of April, when the schedule is open and nobody is sitting in a hot house waiting on us. The discount is not generosity, it is load balancing. Every system that gets looked at in March is one that does not become a panicked phone call in July.

Second system, same trip

$59 for the second

Two-story houses out here often run two systems, and the drive, the ladder and the setup are already paid for by the time we get to the second one. Charging the full trip twice for one trip is the kind of thing customers notice and remember.

The neighbor

$50 each

If somebody on your street sends us a name and we end up doing the work, both houses get something off the next visit. This shop has run on word of mouth in Leander and Cedar Park since 2016. A referral offer just puts a number on what is already happening.

Offers we would talk you out of

Every HVAC site in the county has a coupon strip. Most of them are running the same four discounts they were running in 2019, on a page that says the offer expires at the end of the month, above a copyright date from three years ago. Customers can tell.

  • A countdown that never counts down. A permanent expiry date is a small lie printed at the top of your website, and it costs more trust than the discount buys.
  • The free estimate. It is not free. It is recovered inside the quote, and the person who shows up to give you one usually works on commission. Charging $75 for a diagnosis is the better deal and it is worth saying so out loud.
  • A percentage off a number nobody published. Half off an invented price is not a discount, it is arithmetic performed on a guess.
  • A tune-up sold at a loss to get in the door. The whole trade knows what that one is for. It is how a nineteen dollar inspection turns into a replacement quote before the tech has washed his hands.

None of that is on this site, and none of it needs to be. The strongest offer a two-person shop has is that a licensed contractor answers the phone and then shows up.

Your house is not going to fix itself, and it is not getting any cooler out there.

$75 to come out. A licensed tech, a real look at the whole system, and a straight answer about what is actually wrong with it.

Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm. Saturday and Sunday by appointment.
